Pillow is great love the art work but the zipper quality is bad . Zipping it up the last bit wouldn’t go then it had a gap and continued . I cannot unzip and do again in fear of the whole thing breaking. But the art work is amazing and I am so so happy for my purchase.

Bought this for my horse loving granddaughter and she absolutely loved it. Fabric has a nice texture and inside pillow is good and fluffy. Delivery occurred in a reasonable time.

Pascual Bailon (1540-1592) was born, in May of 1540 in Torre Hermosa, Aragon, Spain. In his youth he was a sheep herder and was often seen praying in the pastures. His faith led him to the Franciscan monastery in Loreto. Because he was uneducated, the friars would only accept him to do menial tasks such as cooking. His devotion to his faith and kindness of heart to the poor made him beloved by all. San Pascual is the patron saint of cooks and the kitchen. He is especially loved in New Mexico.
I have depicted him here preparing a traditional New Mexican meal for his Franciscan brothers. He is making Spanish rice and red chile on the stove. On the table he has set out chips, salsa, and guacamole, sopapillas with honey, plates of tacos, burritos, and enchiladas. Through my work I always hope to tell a story about my personal experiences as a Hispanic woman. I was born and raised in the beautiful state of New Mexico and my family has been in northern New Mexico for over 10 generations. My work comes from my memories of growing up in a large extended family and my favorite subjects to paint are the people and traditions of northern New Mexico. I have always loved art and have wanted to become an artist for as long as I can remember. My primary medium is acrylic on canvas. I have also enjoyed using acrylic on wood as well.
